Electronic Document Management (EDM)
Info+ for your document archiving
needs
Organizations that have the need to
archive large volumes of documents, or have a need to
process documents on a daily basis, often find it more
cost and time effective to outsource electronic
document management. Unlike in-house
digital scanning solutions where costs can vary widely
from project to project, Info+ makes electronic
document management budgeting easy.
EDM costs are usually based upon a fixed-price per page and
prices are set for the entire project or contract
period. The organization also avoids the expense of
purchasing or leasing expensive digital scanning
equipment and there is no need to purchase data storage
equipment and supplies. Info+ can handle large volumes
of documents efficiently, so projects that could take
weeks or months if done internally can be turned around
in a matter of days.
There are also enhanced security
benefits. Info+ stores your documents in a secure
location that is temperature and humidity controlled,
and access is limited to authorized data center and
courier service personnel.
Is it time to switch to digital
scanning?
Any time is a good time to make the
move from paper to digital scanning. The process will be
easier to implement today than it will be tomorrow…
waiting only means that you'll have that much more paper
to process once you finally make the move to EDM.

Electronic Document Management: Solutions to a Growing
Problem
Government
regulations like HIPAA and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act,
IRS
record keeping rules, insurance regulations, and an
increasingly litigious society are the major factors
driving the increased demand for managed document
storage solutions.
Organizations with significant
amounts of paper to manage are realizing that the cost
of storing and retrieving paper documents is an ongoing
expense that will only keep growing.
That's why many are turning to
alternative storage solutions like digital media and
microfiche to comply with their record keeping
requirements. The problem is, internally, these
alternative solutions do not provide significant cost
savings. Besides the cost of hardware, software, and
maintenance, scanning or filming source documents, then
disposing of them, takes many more staff hours than
simply placing them in a folder and locking them in a
file cabinet.
Fortunately, Info+ offers
professional cost-saving solutions that can help
eliminate physical document storage issues, while
dramatically reducing the amount of time you spend
managing your documents. Info+ is your single source for
electronic and source document management solutions.

Overview of Information Management Services
There are many ways we can take your
paper documents and convert them to more a
manageable media for a paperless office.
This is called Electronic Document Management and
starts with document scanning (document
imaging). Once the paper has been converted
(paper to digital document conversion), it is
stored on many different formats such as CD,
DVD, Network, Microfilm, or
Microfiche. Once the data conversion
has been completed, the documents are indexed (document
indexing) or coded (document coding).
Once the documents have been coded and indexed you can
easily retrieve them from the CD, DVD,
Network, Microfilm, or Microfiche.
We can also take your existing media tapes and
convert them to newer formats such as CD,
DVD, or Network. Info+ is
your one source for your electronic document
management solutions. |
